Eight years ago BoulderRockNMoms was born, an on-line resource for moms around the Greater Boulder Colorado area. I was pregnant with my first and in a pre-natal exercise class surrounded by other women embarking on the same journey.  After passing around a roster, we began to keep in touch, have lunch together, chat about our aching backs, and share about our excitements and trepidations. Fast forward a month or so and we were meeting with our babies, nursing in the park, and talking about our birth experiences, nipples, poop and so many other things personal and deep. The days came when some returned to work, others struggled with the decision as to work or not to work, and others chose to leave work behind to be full time mamas! Our precious children continue to grow and our lives continue to move and change along with them. Every new stage for our children offers a new adventure for ourselves. Today our on-line community is nearing 2,200 wonderful members still supporting each other through all aspects of motherhood and life in general.

Thanks to all who have made this group such a huge success, specifially Mia Mestdagh and Lynne Fetterman as our founding members and tireless moderators.
